Your mission
Are you in the early stages of your IT career and looking for a place where you can learn, grow, and make an impact from day one? This might be the perfect opportunity for you!
At Tupl, we’re looking for a motivated and eager-to-learn individual to join our Infrastructure Operations team. You’ll play a key role in supporting and maintaining our big data automation platform as part of ongoing customer projects (mainly in the telecom sector).
You’ll be surrounded by a knowledgeable and supportive team, and you’ll work on tasks that will help you build a strong foundation for your career in infrastructure and operations.
What You’ll Do
You’ll take part in day-to-day operational tasks to ensure systems are healthy, stable, and running efficiently:
1. Monitoring and Incident Detection
• Use monitoring tools (like Prometheus) to keep track of system health and performance.
• Respond to alerts involving servers, network, or infrastructure issues.
• Review system logs and detect anomalies.
2. Basic Troubleshooting and Resolution
• Restart services or systems when required.
• Assist users with password resets or access issues.
• Monitor disk usage and clean up space when necessary.
• Follow runbooks to restart services or applications.
3. Request Management
• Manage tickets through JIRA or Opsgenie.
• Handle basic user requests such as provisioning accounts or setting permissions.
4. Documentation and Reporting
• Log incidents, actions taken, and resolutions clearly.
• Help compile daily health reports and summaries.
5. Escalation
• Identify when issues need to be escalated to more senior (L2/L3) teams.
• Pass along detailed information to aid effective troubleshooting.
6. Preventive Maintenance
• Perform regular system checks (disk usage, CPU/memory, backups).
• Assist with patching and maintaining infrastructure for both customer and internal systems.
• Preventive reboots.
7. Depending on the client, you may also:
• Monitor cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Support basic virtualization tasks (VMware, Proxmox).
• Respond to minor network or connectivity issues.
8. Communication and Collaboration
• Provide updates to the team and stakeholders on ongoing incidents.
• Ensure smooth handovers with clear and concise shift documentation.
